We use the most affordable and best shipping method for each item. The majority of items ship UPS or FedEx. Items shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or overseas Military bases usually ship by Priority Air Mail unless stated differently on the item page. Grandfather clocks, floor clocks and some world globes ship by freight truck.

To see the cost of shipping simply put the item into the shopping cart. Enter your zip code and shipping method on the space provided on the lower left hand side of the shopping cart and click calculate. The cost will be shown before you need to enter any other information.
What payment methods do you accept?

We are happy to accept payments with Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, PayPal, Money Order and personal or bank Checks.

PayPal Orders: We can only ship PayPal orders to an address that PayPal has verified. Usually that is your home address.

Orders totaling more than $400.00: We only ship high valued orders to the billing address or an alternate shipping address that has been added to the credit card. This guideline is to help protect you and ourselves from unauthorized shopping activity in the event your card has been lost or stolen.

Yes you can. To calculate proper shipping please put the item into the shopping cart. Then enter your shipping zip code and shipping method in the lower left hand area and click on Calculate. Click continue and fill in your shipping information. Click continue and fill in your billing information. Print these pages. Make your check or money order payable to Gorman Gift Gallery and mail to our address above, or fax to 352-341-5059. If faxing an order please be sure to include your credit card information on the billing info page that you filled out and printed. Please be sure to include your name, telephone and email address in case we have a question we are able to contact you. We can also email you a shipping confirmation.
Do you accept Purchase Orders?

We only accept Purchase Orders from non-profit organizations such as schools, libraries and government agencies. Please fax us your purchase order and contact information to 352-341-5059.
Did you receive my order?

If you ordered online and received an order confirmation in your email box then we did receive your order. If you do not receive this order email confirmation within 12 hours please contact us by email or phone to verify we received it.
Can I cancel my order?

Yes you can cancel your order as long as it hasn't been processed beyond the point of cancellation or it hasn't shipped. If you need to cancel please call us at 352-341-5040 and we will do the best we can. If the order cannot be cancelled and you still do not want it then please see our return policy.

30-Day Return Policy

Most items have a 30-Day Return policy. For items with a 30-Day return period you can return the item within 30-days of receipt if the item is unused and in new condition. New and unused returns of items with a 30-day return policy do not carry a restocking fee. Please Contact Us for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return information.
Items with less than a 30-Day Return Policy

Since most items carry a 30-day return period it is easier to list the items that have less than a 30-day return period. These items are returned directly to the manufacturer and a 15% restocking fee applies. All returns need to be in new and unused condition with all parts and manuals. Below is a list of these items with their return period.
Grandfather and Floor Clocks have their own return policy so please see it if you are purchasing that item.

  • Grandfather Clock & Floor Clock Returns

    The best practice when purchasing a Grandfather clock is to make sure you purchase the right one. Double check the size by measuring the area such as height where you will be placing your new grandfather clock. Confirm that color choice, style and features are the ones that you want on the clock that you choose.

    If you change your mind about your Grandfather clock purchase please contact us by phone (352) 341-5040 right away. If the order can be cancelled we will do so. If it has already shipped then please refuse delivery when it arrives. You will have a 15% restocking fee and be responsible for the return shipping (about $165).

    If you accept delivery and then decide to return the clock you have 15 days to do so. Please contact us for an RA# and return instructions. You are responsible for a prepaid and insured return and a 30% restocking fee. This is because the clock returns to the manufacturer and they have to inspect and repack the clocks. In some instances the clocks are no longer sellable and are considered a loss.

    Grandfather clocks are no longer returnable once they have been set up in your home. Setup by a professional is included with your purchase. Once the technician has set the clock up then the clock is no longer new and unused as to return it.

    Christmas, Holiday & Gift returns

    We appreciate early shoppers. If you are purchasing an item that carries a 30-day return period (please see above) then it is all right to shop now and return after Christmas. The item still needs to be brand new in the original packaging. The deadline for 2007 Christmas return requests is January 31, 2008.

    If you are purchasing an item that carries a less than 30-day return period (please see above) then we suggest purchasing these items in early December since we are unable to change the return period.
    If you received a gift and would like to return it credit will be issued to the credit card used in the original transaction. At this time we are unable to offer exchanges on gift items.

    Some items offer Free Ground shipping on the item page. If these items are returned this voids the free shipping offer. Credit will be given less actual original shipping costs that the shipping carriers charged us.
    Delivery Information
    When will my order arrive?

    Each item page has an estimated time it takes for your order to be processed and shipped out the door. This estimate doesn't count transit days with the shipping carrier, weekends or holidays. So for example you want to purchase an item that usually ships in 2 to 3 business days and today is Thursday. You choose 2 day air as your shipping method. Your order will probably ship by Monday (2 business days) and arrive by Wednesday. If your order ships on Tuesday (3 business days) then it will arrive by Thursday. We do try to prioritize Air orders whenever we can and ship them sooner. For Ground orders please allow up to 6 business days for delivery once it ships.
    Grandfather & Floor Clock Delivery

    We try to provide the smoothest delivery of your new Grandfather or Floor Clock that the can be offered. Your Grandfather or Floor Clock will arrive by White Glove freight truck delivery. This means that when your order arrives the delivery people will bring your new clock into your home or office and unpack it for you. The delivery includes first floor delivery up to 4 steps. If you have additional stairs involved please let us know at the time you place your order so that we can make arrangements with the shipping carrier so that they arrive prepared.

    Important: At the time of delivery, while the driver and delivery people are still there you or the receiving person will need to inspect your clock for any shipping damage. If the clock has any shipping damage or defects that you cannot live with, then it is important to have the driver pack the clock up and that you refuse the delivery. ***You will need to sign the delivery receipt as "Damaged Refused Delivery". This way we can take care of the claim and send you a new clock. Once the driver leaves shipping damages cannot be claimed.

    When the clock has been delivered we will make arrangements for an experienced technician to come and set the clock up for you and answer any technical questions.

    If you are home to meet the delivery carrier and notice damage to your package please point it out to the driver. Have him scan the information into his system. If it is real bad and you hear rattling such as in glass you probably should refuse delivery or open it up in front of the driver and check for damaged.

    If you are not home and your package arrives damaged please contact us within 3 business days of delivery. The sooner the better. We will put in a claim with the delivery carrier and send out a replacement.

    A refusal of delivery is pretty much the same as following our return policy. Return shipping costs are deducted from the return and if applicable as in our return policy a restocking fee may apply.

    We ship all items to the lower 48 United States. We ship most items to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and AA, AE, AP etc. overseas military bases. We also ship some to Canada. See our Canada Page for more information on ordering.
    Do you charge Sales Tax?

    We are located in Florida so if you are shipping to the state of Florida we are required by law to charge a 6% sales tax. If you are in Florida and you are shipping to another state we do not charge sales tax.

    Gorman Gift Gallery does not pass on your personal information to 3rd parties. We only use the information you provide with your order to process your order. We do not put you on any mailing or calling lists. Our store is hosted with Yahoo so please see the Yahoo Privacy Policy as well.

    We do not have a paper catalog that we are able to mail you. At this time we only have the online store catalog.
